Job Title

Machinist Operator

$15-19 hourly

Reports To

Supervisor

Job Overview

Operates CNC, cutting, and drilling equipment and performs off-line assembly operations related to machined components by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames:

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Select appropriate CNC programs.

  • Enter dimensional offsets or make mechanical machine adjustments to maintain part quality.

  • Must be able to interpret blueprints.

  • Must be able to visually inspect materials to surface finish requirements.

  • Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.

  • Must be able to follow verbal instructions.

  • Must be able to use hand tools.

  • Other duties as assigned including high proficiency in at least one of the following: wiring, brazing, assembly.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education & experience.

  • Ability to read and understand English instructions.

  • Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Job Specifics

  • $15.00 to $18.00 per hour

  • Day shift Monday through Friday 6am to 4:30 pm
