Daycare Teacher

-Exemplify professionalism, dedication, and a strong work ethic to maintain quality

- Provide a safe, responsive, and stimulating environment by actively and consistently engaging in daily activities and routines with children an co-teachers

- Facilitate meaningful and engaging learning experiences, while embracing children's ideas, views, and involvement

- Form and maintain professional, healthy, and attached relationships with families, children, teachers, facilitators, and the director

- Document observations and complete routine developmental assessments on children

- Maintain child portfolios and attend conferences

- Perform meal prep and serve, housekeeping, diapering, toileting, and hygiene duties

- Communicate daily with co-teachers, families, facilitators, and the director

- Ability to healthily manage the stress and exasperation that working in early childhood may bring

- Complete extensive program training and education, including obtaining a CDA or ECE degree

- Daily use of technology to document, plan, communicate, train, and complete other tasks

- Flexibility to work in other classrooms as needed to support the program as a whole

- Minimum 21 years of age to apply

- Pass background check, drug screen, and physical

- Be willing to obtain CPR-First Aid-Universal Precautions certificate

- Indiana driver's license and reliable transportation

- High School Diploma or GED

- Experience in an early childhood setting preferred but not required
