Performs a variety of accounting clerical duties involved in maintain accounts receivable records, processing bills and monitoring payments.
Maintains and updates computerized accounts receivable records.
Prepares invoices and posts payments to customer accounts.
Reconciles accounts receivable.
Collects bad debts.
Communicates with managers and customers to clarify information and to explain the billing process.
Conduct account research and analysis.
Prepare and maintain various reports
Maintain an accurate Aging Report
Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments.
Send statements to outstanding customer. This includes certified letters.
Interact with the customers to resolve outstanding issues.
Other duties may be assigned.
1 year experience supporting accounting office; prefer 2 years experience in A/R
Excellent customer service skills with ability to handle different personalities
Intermediate experience in MS Office Suite and accounting programs
